Truly a class of its own.
We Repeat:
“Nothing Like It”
DUAL ACTION
PCA increases the function of the synovial joint, knee, shoulder, hip, elbow and hands.
Enhancing Joint Function Across the Body
What is
PCA?
…is everywhere in your body, naturally.
…is a constant member of your microbiome.
…is increased when you eat.
…is common to the human diet.
…is your ever-present friend.
…boosts your joint health.
Key Statements
The best solution
Better than any drug or over the counter for dual effects on function and structure of the synovial joint.
Healthier Cartilage Structure
PCA in laboratory and animal testing showed it increases lubricin and increases cartilage integrity in human and animal joint lining to enhance the nutrition and integrity of the cartilage.
Enhances joint structure integrity
We are just increasing the natural amount of PCA already in your body in a good way to affect the function and structure of your joints in a good way.
100% pure natural reagent
Unlike other supplements as not a mixture of many and not an extract from plants, but a single powerful reagent, protocatechuic acid produced biochemically for 98% purity.
Researched at high level
PCA, although classified as a nutraceutical has been studied as a pharmaceutical for FDA application purposes.
Introduction to Protocatechuic Acid
Protocatechuic acid (PCA) is a phytochemical, marketed as a nutraceutical, and chemically a benzoic acid; 2,4 di hydroxybenzaldehyde. PCA is found throughout nature, in soil, plants, trees, streams and lakes. PCA is common to the human diet. It is integral to the human metabolism, produced in small amounts by the bacteria in the human large bowel.
The scientific publications on PCA are abundant, dating back to 1890. Most of the original literature was in the food supplement or nutraceutical journals. Presently PCA is regularly appearing in the medical literature because of its potential benefits in health and wellness.
Although PCA is a nutraceutical it has been investigated as though a drug. PCA is the subject of more than 20 Dr. Johnson’s US patents.
Although PCA is classified as a nutraceutical, its pharmaceutical applications are being explored and published. PCA’s pharmacodynamics and pharmacokinetic are well known.
An application for the drug treatment of prosthetic joint infections is before the FDA.
PCA is a powerful antioxidant, 10 times more powerful than vitamin E.
Antioxidants are fundamental to health and wellness.
PCA has a strong anti-inflammation property.
Inflammation is fundamental to all disease.
Credible Evidence for PCA
PCA could not be more natural
Resides in your microbiome
It is part of your daily diet
PCA is everywhere in nature; soil, plants, trees, lakes and ponds
Your health will benefit from PCA
It was first reported upon by Otto Lehmann in 1890 and again in 1905 concerning the various needle like shapes observed in liquid which now are recognized as important role in the antibiotic and anti-viral properties of PCA that physically disrupt the pathogens. PCA publications are numerous over the ensuing years and increasing steadily almost daily as recognized by any Internet search. The most recent survey was by Song, et al.
The Human Pharmacodynamics and Pharmacokinetics are Known
Safety
PCA is safe by any amount possibly ingested or delivered by any route; oral, injectable, or topical. PCA is non-toxic, non- allergenic and non-mutagenic. PCA has been designated by the FDA as Generally Recognized as Safe (G.R.A.S.) as a food flavoring additive. The amount in this application is generally considered to be 1% concentration.
Dose
Toxically studies in rodents when the amount is converted to human consumption would not be feasible to ingest such a large amount at once. On 9/27/2017 toxicity testing was performed at Product Safety Labs with a dose level of 5000 mg/kilogram on rodents. It was reported in Laboratory study number 41068 that the LD50 following a single oral delivery was greater than 5000 mg/kg body weight in female rats.
The conversion to a human relative dose to exceed safety would be 350 grams per day for a 70- kilogram human.
This amount not likely to possibly be ingested at once or over a period of time. The recommended oral dose for humans would be 500-2000 milligrams per day based upon rabbit studies showing 30 milligrams per kilo every other day to reverse the catabolic chemistry of a surgically induced osteoarthritis of the knee and preserved the articular cartilage. In the presence of early arthritis, it increases cartilage nutrition resulting in more lubricin on the surface. In addition, the nutrition and integrity of the matrix was enhanced with the increase in aggrecan and type II collagen.
